Does anyone at your Home Break encourage influence or inspire you with your surfing? If so who and why? how?
A lot of times I meet people at my home breaks. It seems like every sesh, I meet someone new and learn something about and from them. It just opens my eyes to new things. Also I've met Dave Johnson, a local where I live, and he's just so thriving in his passion for the surf culture...he's a great guy and a good influence.
Who is your favourite surfer and why?
I think I'd have to say Taj Burrow, because even though he's not really into the competetion scene, he's a really down to earth guy and gets the most out of smaller waves. I also love Layne Beachley and have the utmost respect for her because shes amazing!!
Any surfing tips for beginners?
Start on whitewash, don't get too big for your britches so to speak, don't get in over your head (repetitive?), and definetely don't get discouraged. Especially as a girl its hard to get respect in this generally male-dominated sport, so be strong and don't lose hope. And don't let others intimidate you!
What board/boards are you currently riding?
I have a 6'5 by David Pu'u. Pretty ancient, but it's a fun board to ride. I'm in the process of transitioning from my 7'8 Dave Johnson funshape. It's hard but I'm getting the hang of it!
Anything Else you'd like to say in your profile?
Ever since I started surfing, it's had a place in my heart. It governs so much in my life and has taught me so much, and I'm still learning. I'm hoping to get better and maybe someday win a real competition. I just wish there were MORE girls that surfed at my school!!

Conclusion
If you had to write a surfing Slogan to sum up your feelings about the sport what would it be?
Live to Surf, Surf to Live.
